Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced more traffic diversions in Dubai, this time — in Academic City due to ongoing construction on the Dubai Metro Blue Line. The latest update includes the closure of 63 Street in both directions in front of the German International School. While access to Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Street remains open, alternative entry and exit points will be provided for school traffic. Dubai’s public transport network is getting a major boost with the upgrade of 22 bus stations across the city, including 16 passenger stations and 6 major depots. The enhancements come as part of the Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) effort to improve the quality and efficiency of bus services in the emirate. The 2025 Dhofar Khareef season in Salalah has officially begun with the launch of Ateen Square, a new cultural and entertainment hub serving as the centrepiece of this year’s festivities.
