Dubai’s craft beer scene is about to get a major new addition. BrewDog, one of Scotland’s most recognisable brewing brands, is opening its first bar in the city on Friday, May 23. The new location will be based at Bluewaters and marks the company’s debut in the GCC region.

The brand is planning an ambitious rollout in Dubai, with eight new BrewDog bars expected over the next five years. Known internationally for its bold style and creative brews inspired by everything from punk rock to pop culture icons, BrewDog is bringing a full experience to its UAE fans.

 

The Bluewaters location will span two levels and feature:

  • Two large central bars with 22 taps pouring BrewDog’s classic and seasonal craft selections
  • Three open-air terraces with views of the JBR coastline and Ain Dubai
  • A large dining area and coworking-friendly space
  • Activities including duckpin bowling, augmented reality darts, and live music

BrewDog Dubai is kicking off the launch with several opening-weekend promotions. The first 200 guests will be entered into a prize draw to win free BrewDog hops for a year. Throughout the weekend, selected hops will be priced under AED 20.

 

This venue marks the beginning of BrewDog’s expansion in the region and follows the brand’s global success, with more than 100 locations already established in cities across the UK, USA, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
