Dubai is about to witness the rise of another architectural wonder – the Burj Azizi.
Nestled on Sheikh Zayed Road, just opposite the iconic World Trade Centre, this mega project is set to take its place as the second tallest tower in the city, following in the colossal footsteps of the Burj Khalifa.
This soaring structure will not just define the skyline but also redefine luxury living and entertainment. With a budget of USD 1.5 billion, the construction of Burj Azizi is already underway, promising to deliver a masterpiece by its targeted completion year of 2028.
So, what can we expect from this vertical giant?
Boasting a vertical shopping mall, a lavish “seven-star” hotel, opulent residences, an observation deck that promises breathtaking views, and a selection of high-end restaurants, Burj Azizi is more than just a building – it’s a lifestyle destination.

While the exact height of Burj Azizi is unknown, we know that it’s eyeing the title of being the second-tallest building in Dubai, just shy of the reigning Burj Khalifa. Standing at an impressive 828 meters, the Burj Khalifa has held the crown of the world’s tallest building for an impressive 14 years.
To claim the spot as the second tallest, Burj Azizi will need to reach a minimum height of 450 meters to surpass the Franck Muller Aeternitas Tower, currently under construction in Dubai Marina, which is slated to be the world’s tallest residential clock tower.
Burj Azizi is set to become a landmark destination in the city by 2028. So keep your eyes on the horizon, because Dubai’s skyline is about to get a whole lot more impressive.
