BurJuman Mall, one of Dubai’s most well-known shopping destinations, is set to introduce a ticketless paid parking system. This change follows similar upgrades at other major malls like Mall of the Emirates, Deira City Centre, and Dubai Mall.

The exact launch date of smart parking system hasn’t been announced yet, but BurJuman Mall has confirmed the update on its website. Along with ticketless parking, the mall will introduce a ‘Find My Car’ service and other improvements to make navigation easier.

With this new system, drivers won’t need to collect physical parking tickets. Instead, Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras will scan vehicle plates upon entry and exit to calculate parking fees automatically. While barriers will remain in place, they will lift without requiring drivers to stop.

The BurJuman Mall parking rates will stay the same:

  • First 3 hours – free
  • Each additional hour – AED 20
  • Free parking on Sundays and public holidays
  • Moviegoers get an extra 3 hours free

However, overnight parking is not allowed. Vehicles left beyond permitted hours will be charged AED 250 per day.

BurJuman Mall has been a key part of Dubai’s retail scene since 1991. Spanning 286,000+ sqm, it hosts a mix of international and local brands, a cinema, a family entertainment center, a hypermarket, and numerous restaurants.

It is also home to Dubai’s busiest metro station, BurJuman, which saw 7.8 million passengers in the first half of last year. Located at the intersection of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street and Khalid bin Al Waleed Road, the station makes the mall easily accessible to both residents and tourists.
