Chef Kelvin Cheung, best known for his modern dining hotspot Jun’s, is bringing something a little different to Dubai’s food scene. Meet Jooksing, a new takeout-style concept serving up comforting, fast, and flavour-packed American-Chinese fusion dishes.

“Jook-sing” is a Cantonese term for a Chinese expat born in the West — a fitting tribute to Chef Kelvin’s own background. Born in Canada and raised in Chicago, his multicultural roots shine through in this new food venture, where East meets West in the most comforting way possible.

Backed by Three Layer Hospitality (the team behind Jun’s, Pind Bathinda, and Circle of Crust), Jooksing will join a growing list of standout homegrown quick-dining spots at Neighbourhood Food Hall. It’s not fully Chinese, not fully American — it’s the deliciously nostalgic Chinese takeout experience many know and love.

Set inside a small, industrial-style cloud kitchen, Jooksing will keep the energy high with woks blazing and flames flying. The menu is short, sweet, and straight to the point — perfect for when you want something comforting without thinking too hard (or spending too much).
