Dubai International Airport has rolled out a new smart pick-up service called Greet & Go at Terminal 3. The system is designed for passengers who have pre-booked pick-ups through hotels, limousine services, or tour operators.

Instead of looking for a driver holding a sign, arriving guests can now head to a designated kiosk at the terminal. There, they scan a personalised QR code to view all the details about their assigned driver and vehicle. This includes the car’s registration number and parking location.

After scanning, passengers are met by a Dubai Airports employee, who guides them directly to their car. This replaces the usual guest paging system and aims to make the process quicker and more organised. It also helps reduce congestion in the arrival areas and improves the overall flow of passengers at the terminal.

Hotels and transport providers can join the system by registering through the DXB Greet & Go portal. Once signed up, they can upload their driver and vehicle information and send guests their own QR codes in advance.

Dubai Airport is continuing to expand services aimed at smoother arrivals and departures. Other services available now or in the pipeline include direct luggage delivery to homes and hotels via marhaba services, AI-powered passport control in the First and Business Class lounges at Terminal 3, and 3D high-tech security scanners, which are already in place at Terminals 1, 2, and 3.

Dubai International Airport keeps evolving, using smart tools and new systems to make travel through DXB more seamless from start to finish.
