The Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) is officially returning for its ninth edition. For the entire month, from Saturday, November 1 to Sunday, November 30, 2025, residents are encouraged to commit to 30 minutes of physical activity each day for 30 days.

Launched in 2017 by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, the initiative has seen more than 13 million participants to date. It continues to inspire a healthier, more active lifestyle across the city.

This year’s edition introduces a refreshed logo and promises a packed calendar of fitness-focused events, activities, and community programmes, turning Dubai into a month-long open-air gym.

What activities to expect during DFC 2025?

Throughout the month, residents can take part in:

  • Free fitness classes and sessions across the city
  • Fitness villages and pop-up community hubs
  • Inclusive wellness and training events open to all levels

Also, it means the return of major sporting events:

  • DP World Dubai Ride on Sunday, November 2
  • Dubai Stand-Up Paddle on Saturday, November 8 & Sunday, November 9
  • Dubai Run on Sunday, November 23
