As Dubai gears up to celebrate Eid Al Adha 2025, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced several updates that will affect daily travel, from free parking to changes in metro and bus services.

Free Public Parking in Dubai during Eid Al Adha 2025

Parking across most public spaces in Dubai will be free from Thursday, June 5, to Sunday, June 8. This does not apply to multi-level parking terminals, which will remain paid throughout the holiday period.

Salik Toll Rates in Dubai during Eid Al Adha 2025

Dubai’s toll operator Salik PJSC has also confirmed that variable road toll pricing will be in effect throughout the Eid Al Adha break, from June 5 to 8. The charges will follow a peak and off-peak system across all ten Salik gates in the city.

Peak hours (AED 6):

  • 6 AM to 10 AM
  • 4 PM to 8 PM

Off-peak hours (AED 4):

  • 10 AM to 4 PM
  • 8 PM to 1 AM

Free period between 1 AM to 6 AM

Metro & Tram Timings in Dubai during Eid Al Adha 2025

If you’re planning to get around via public transport, take note of the special holiday schedules starting Wednesday, June 4, until Saturday, June 7:

  • Dubai Metro will run from 5 AM to 1 AM (next day)
  • Dubai Tram will operate from 6 AM to 1 AM (next day)

Bus Services in Dubai during Eid Al Adha 2025

Residents are encouraged to check the S’hail app for the latest updates on bus timings. Some intercity bus routes will see temporary adjustments:

  • E100 (Al Ghubaiba to Abu Dhabi) will be suspended from June 4 to June 8. Commuters should use E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station instead.
  • E102 will run directly from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, skipping stops at Ibn Battuta and Musaffah.

Customer Happiness & Testing Centres

Customer Happiness Centres will be closed throughout the Eid break. Smart Customer Happiness Centres at Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, and the RTA Head Office will remain open 24/7.

Service provider centres will be closed from June 5 to 7, with technical testing services resuming on Sunday, June 8 at the following:

  • Al Yalayis
  • Tasjeel Al Awir
  • Tasjeel Al Tawar
  • Shamil Muhaisnah
  • AutoPro Al Mankhool

All services, including transactions and technical tests, will be fully operational again from Monday, June 9.
