Global Village is preparing for one of the biggest celebrations of the season. To mark the UAE’s 54th National Day, the park will host a week-long celebration packed with fireworks, shows, and cultural experiences under the theme “United.”
The festivities start on Thursday, November 27, and continue until Wednesday, December 3, 2025.
Here’s your full guide to spending Eid Al Etihad 2025 at Global Village:
- Fireworks on December 1, 2, and 3 at 9 PM
- UAE-themed drone shows on December 1 and 2
- Theatrical operetta ‘From the Desert to the Stars‘ will be performed from December 1 to 3, telling the story of the UAE’s journey through dance and music (two performances on each day)
- Khaleeji artist Khalid Mohammed will perform live on December 1 at 9 PM on the Main Stage
Across the park, visitors will find plenty more entertainment to enjoy throughout the week:
- traditional Yola and Harbiya performances will fill the air with rhythm
- ten installations celebrating Emirati traditions (perfect for photos and for learning a bit more about the country’s roots)
- local flavours like golden luqaimat or freshly made ragag bread
Shoppers can explore Emirates Pavilion, 971 Community Pavilion, and Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation Pavilion for Emirati-made products and Union Day souvenirs.
Whether you’re after live shows, fireworks, or a taste of local culture, Global Village will be the heart of UAE National Day spirit this year. If you’re planning to visit earlier, the park has more unmissable events before Eid Al Etihad, including a massive K-pop concert on November 16 and a performance by Filipino star Rob Deniel on November 22.
