The UAE is getting ready for Eid Al Etihad 2025, the country’s 54th National Day. Celebrated every year on December 2, this event marks the founding of the United Arab Emirates and the unification of its seven emirates.
This year’s main celebration will take place on Tuesday, December 2. While the location is yet to be confirmed, it’s expected to follow the tradition of being held at a significant cultural or natural site.
Last year, the event was hosted at Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain, drawing attention to the UAE’s heritage, values, and aspirations for the future.
Weekend Dates are Announced!
On November 17, the UAE has announced the official public and private sector holiday dates for National Day 2025. All workers will have Monday, December 1, and Tuesday, December 2, off. Combined with the regular weekend, this creates a four-day long weekend to celebrate the occasion.
