Emirates has just announced it will add a third daily flight between Dubai and Cape Town starting in summer 2026, responding to the continued high demand for this popular route. The new Boeing 777 service will complement the airline’s existing flights, providing even more flexibility for travelers heading to South Africa.

With Cape Town becoming an increasingly popular destination for travelers from the UAE and the GCC region, this new flight will make it easier to plan your next trip.

Three daily flights from Dubai (DXB) to Cape Town (CPT):

  • departs Dubai at 3:50 AM, arriving at 11:40 AM (local time)
  • departs Dubai at 9:10 AM, arriving at 4:45 PM (local time)
  • NEW in 2026: departs Dubai at 10:25 AM, arriving in Cape Town at 6:05 PM (local time)

Three daily flights from Cape Town (CPT) to Dubai (DXB):

  • departs Cape Town at 1:40 PM, arriving at 1:05 AM (local time)
  • departs Cape Town at 6:30 PM, arriving at 5:55 AM (local time)
  • NEW in 2026: departs Cape Town at 8 PM, arriving in Dubai at 7:25 AM the following day (local time)

Looking ahead, Emirates is continuing to enhance its services and respond to passenger requests. As it was announced this week, all travelers will soon be able to enjoy Starlink Wi-Fi during the flights, which will be available in all classes.
