Looking for something new to check out during Riyadh Season 2025? Here’s a beloved family-friendly free zone that’s now open and ready for you: Riyadh Zoo! From giraffes reaching for the sky to flamingos strutting their stuff, it brings you up close to wildlife in a way that’s both fun and informative.
The zoo is split into several zones, each with something unique to offer:
- Almalaz Bay: start your visit with Owl House, Farm Experience, and Kangaroo Yard
- Ape Escape where you can meet chimpanzees, orangutans, lemurs, and other primates
- Enchanted Forest: this African-themed area lets you feed giraffes, meet llamas and bears, and watch gazelles
- Pink Lake is filled with flamingos, parrots, and songbirds
- The Swamp where you check out Bengal and white tigers, walk through a crocodile tunnel, and explore a reptile house with over 60 rare species
- Wild Adventure allows you to get up close (but safely!) to lions, elephants, and hippos
Riyadh Zoo is open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM, so you’ve got plenty of time to explore everything it has to offer! Dive into a world of wildlife until January 3.
