Dubai is set to elevate its coastline with the development of Al Mamzar Corniche Beach, a public space designed to blend recreation, relaxation, and modern amenities. Spread over 125,000 square metres with a width of up to 80 metres, the project promises an engaging experience for residents and visitors.
The upcoming beach will feature dedicated zones catering to diverse interests. A public beach exclusively for women, complete with night swimming facilities, stands out as a major attraction. Fitness enthusiasts can enjoy a network of running, walking, and cycling paths, seamlessly connecting Al Mamzar Creek Beach and Al Mamzar Park. The design integrates lush green spaces, offering visitors a tranquil retreat amidst landscaped beauty.
Children’s play areas, a skateboarding zone spanning 2,000 square metres, and a 5,000-square-metre events area will ensure the beach is buzzing with activities year-round. The project also includes a 200-metre pedestrian bridge over Al Mamzar Creek, enhancing accessibility and convenience.
Al Mamzar Corniche Beach will adopt cutting-edge technologies to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. AI-supported surveillance systems, advanced drowning rescue tools, and smart luggage lockers are just some of the innovative services planned. The beach is also set to include a 300-metre-long night swimming area, thoughtfully designed for accessibility, making it inclusive for people of determination.
The development is part of the larger Al Mamzar Beach Development Project, which began in June 2024. The first phase, covering 275,000 square metres, is nearly halfway complete. With the second phase now underway, both stages are expected to conclude by the end of 2025. Dubai Municipality has allocated approximately AED 400 million for the project.
As the project progresses, Al Mamzar Corniche Beach is shaping up to become a destination that combines modern leisure with community-focused spaces, embodying Dubai’s vision for world-class urban development.
