Get ready for Hai Ramadan at Expo City Dubai, a month-long celebration packed with food, culture, and family-friendly fun. From February 27 to March 27, experience the spirit of Ramadan in a vibrant, welcoming setting.
“Hai” means “neighborhood” and “welcome” in Arabic, and that’s exactly what this festival is about—bringing people together. As you walk through Al Wasl Avenue, you’ll find traditional Emirati-themed stations that bring local customs to life. Step into a nostalgic old-style grocery store, relax in cozy seating areas, and explore fun interactive experiences like the Yado House Floos system, where kids can earn treats through playful tasks.

Food is at the heart of Ramadan, and Hai Ramadan has plenty to offer. Whether you’re breaking your fast at iftar (AED 260 per person) or enjoying suhoor (AED 180 per person), expect a memorable dining experience. Special dishes will be prepared under Al Wasl Dome, with chefs Meera Al Naqbi and Mechell Nassr crafting unique flavors for the occasion.
Here are more activities to enjoy at Hai Ramadan at Expo City Dibai:
- Explore the souk to find handcrafted treasures, traditional clothing, and beautiful Ramadan-themed items.
- Gather under the Al Wasl Dome for captivating tales and a magical performance by the Firdaus Orchestra.
- Let little ones dive into Emirati traditions, learning through crafts, games, and fun activities.

As night falls, don’t miss the live performance of Rashid and Latifa, as they embark on a quest to find the moon, symbolizing the meaning of fasting in Ramadan. Also, make sure to catch the Dubai cannon, firing daily to mark the breaking of the fast.
A mosque on-site will host Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers, along with Qur’an recitations and storytelling sessions that share lessons of faith, culture, and morality.
Hai Ramadan is open from 5 PM to 1 AM daily, with an entry fee of AED 35 per person (tickets are redeemable for Floos – Hai Ramadan currency). Whether you’re coming for the food, the festivities, or the cultural experience, Expo City Dubai is the place to be this Ramadan!
