Abu Dhabi has taken another step toward autonomous urban mobility with the expansion of its self-driving taxi service, TXAI, to include Zayed International Airport. The new route connects the airport with Yas and Saadiyat Islands, further building out the emirate’s smart transport network. The announcement was made by the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) under Abu Dhabi Mobility, and supports the emirate’s strategy to make 25% of all trips driverless by 2040.
