Dubai Metro riders will have more time to travel this weekend. On Sunday, July 20, the metro will run until 1 AM the following day, as announced by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The extended hours apply across the network and are being introduced to support increased footfall during a major event in the city. Normally, Dubai Metro operates from 8 AM to midnight on Sundays. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially opened a brand-new stretch of road in Dubai Investment Park, designed to accommodate both vehicle traffic and the upcoming Etihad Rail service. This latest infrastructure move is a major step forward for Dubai’s expanding transport network. The newly completed 1.8km flyover connects Dubai Investment Park with Al Yalayis Road, allowing cars to move overhead while freight trains pass safely below.
