A shopping trip, dinner plans, a movie night. Sounds like an exhausting day? Not if you’re doing it all at The Avenues Riyadh. This huge new mall is coming to the intersection of King Salman Road and King Fahad Road in north Riyadh, and the first details are already here.
If shopping is your thing, set aside a few hours. More than 100 stores will open here, and some of the brands already confirmed: American Eagle, Foot Locker, Victoria’s Secret, H&M, Bath & Body Works, Charlotte Tilbury, and Ulta Beauty.
Maybe you’ll end up spending more time eating than shopping. Starbucks, Shake Shack, Chipotle, and Raising Cane’s are already on board, and if you’re not ready to head home afterwards, The Avenues Riyadh will feature 19 cinema halls.

With so much in one place, you’ll probably need more than one visit to see it all. The Avenues Riyadh will be divided into nine districts. One of the most interesting is The Souk, which takes inspiration from Saudi culture and Najdi design, with traditional market-style lanes and intimate cafés.
The development will also include five high-rise towers:
- Tower 1: office spaces
- Tower 2: Waldorf Astoria Hotel
- Tower 3: premium residential apartments
- Tower 4: Canopy by Hilton
- Tower 5: Conrad Hotel
So if one day isn’t enough, you can stay the night. The city is about to welcome more luxury hotels: The Riyadh EDITION, celebrity-favourite Faena, and Atheel KAFD Hotel.
One thing you probably won’t need to worry about is parking. More than 14,000 spaces are planned for the mall, so good luck remembering exactly where you left the car.
With so many stores, cinema halls, and plenty of food spots, deciding where to start your journey might be the hardest decision of the day. You won’t have to wait too long to see it for yourself. The Avenues Riyadh is expected to open in the first quarter of 2027.
