Dubai’s iconic Jumeirah Beach is getting a fresh new look — and it’s almost ready for visitors again. The revamped public beach is set to reopen in July 2025, bringing enhanced facilities just in time for peak summer season.
Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, shared details on various improvement projects, confirming that construction work at Jumeirah Beach is nearly complete. The beach will officially welcome the public again in a couple of months, marking a key milestone in the city’s broader plan to improve public spaces and boost community engagement.

This is part of a AED 355 million beach development initiative announced in mid-2024, which also includes upgrades to Al Mamzar and Jumeirah 1 public beaches. The project aims to modernise 5.7 km of shoreline — with 1.4 km focused on Jumeirah 1. Other elements include Dubai’s first floating pedestrian bridge at Al Mamzar and a 24-hour night beach in Deira.
The development aligns with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, which aims to increase the total length of public beaches in the emirate by 400 percent, transforming coastal areas into more accessible, modern, and vibrant public spaces.
So whether you’re into sunrise strolls or late-night beach sessions, Jumeirah Beach’s new chapter is almost here — and it’s shaping up to be one of Dubai’s best seaside spots.
