BTS have officially announced their return from hiatus. After completing their mandatory military service, all seven members of the group will reunite for a new album and a global tour in 2026.
Their agency, HYBE, confirmed the news, adding that the group will travel to the United States in July to begin working on the album and planning the tour. This will be their first comeback as a full group since going on hiatus in 2022.
The announcement was made during a livestream — their first with all seven members in nearly three years — which drew over 7.3 million real-time viewers, setting a new record for BTS.
During the livestream, group leader RM confirmed that the new album is scheduled for release in spring 2026. He also shared that a world tour will begin around the same time.

This will be their first album in four years. Their last release, “Proof,” came out in 2022 and was the best-selling album in South Korea that year, with nearly 3.5 million copies sold.
With preparations beginning this summer and the group reuniting in the studio soon, fans around the world can start looking forward to BTS taking the stage once again. Stay tuned for the updates!
