Kuwait is about to get a unique cultural treat as Moscow Seasons Festival heads to the Middle East for the first time ever. From September 25 to 27, 2025, the festival will showcase the best of Russian culture, music, and art. Supported by the Embassy of the Russian Federation, this event promises to give Kuwait’s residents and visitors a chance to experience the vibrant spirit of Moscow.

The festival will be held in two locations.

The Avenues Mall – Moscow in the Heart of Kuwait

Moscow’s spirit will take over The Avenues Mall, one of the largest shopping centers in the region, from September 25 to 27.

Here are all activities planned at The Avenues during Moscow Seasons Festival:

  • variety of performances by Russian artistic ensembles showcasing both traditional and modern Russian arts
  • VR tours through Moscow’s most famous landmarks and a special photo exhibition highlighting the city’s cultural heritage
  • Drop by Moscow Tourist Information Center to get all the details you need about Moscow’s best attractions and upcoming events

  • Stop by Moscow Tea Time Station for a taste of traditional Moscow sweets and tea – a delicious way to feel like you’re in the heart of Russia

The festival will also feature a historical costume photo zone, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the opulence of Moscow’s past. The costumes on display come from the Moscow Estates Festival, an annual event that highlights the grandeur of Moscow’s historic mansions.

Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre – The Grand Concert on September 27

The highlight of the festival will be a grand concert at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre on September 27. Hosted in this stunning venue, the concert will feature the world-famous Moscow State Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Ivan Rudin.

The orchestra will perform two iconic Russian masterpieces:

  • Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade – a symphonic suite full of rich violin solos and captivating orchestration, inspired by the legendary tales of One Thousand and One Nights
  • Stravinsky’s The Firebird – a groundbreaking ballet score blending Russian folklore with innovative orchestral colors, offering a magical journey into the world of myth and legend

Before the concert, guests can enjoy a traditional Moscow Tea Time, where they’ll be treated to Russian sweets and a warm cup of tea – the perfect way to experience Moscow’s hospitality.
