Finding and paying for parking in Dubai just got easier. Parkin, the city’s largest public parking provider, has launched a new smart app created to simplify the process. Instead of searching for a payment machine, drivers can now pay for parking directly through their phones.

The app provides real-time updates on available parking spots, covering both on-street spaces and multi-storey car parks. This means no more driving around in circles looking for a free spot.

One of the most convenient features of Parkin smart app is AutoPay. Using number plate recognition, the app automatically detects when your car enters and exits a parking area, charging you without needing to manually pay each time.

Currently, the barrierless system is working in Parkin’s multi-storey car parks, including those at Mall of the Emirates and Deira City Centre.

Drivers can also schedule parking in advance, top up their app wallet, defer payments, and even dispute fines or request refunds if needed. Future updates will bring even more features, such as EV charging stations and car maintenance services like car washes, engine oil changes, tyre checks, and battery inspections.

Meanwhile, Parkin is also adjusting parking fees across Dubai, with some areas — such as the Dubai World Trade Centre during major events — already seeing increased rates.
