Dubai Mall has rolled out changes to pick-up and drop-off locations for visitors, employees, and tour operators, as Emaar continues upgrades on its infrastructure, including the Grand Parking area.

Tour Buses and Hop-On Hop-Off Service

Tour bus pick-up and drop-off points along Grand Drive and Grand Parking are set to close soon. While no official date has been announced, operators are already adjusting routes.

  • Tour buses will now stop near Dubai Mall Chinatown or at the front of Dubai Mall Zabeel.
  • The RTA’s Hop-On Hop-Off bus, which previously started its route from the main mall area, will now depart from the front side of Zabeel, continuing on to eight key attractions around the city.
  • Other tour operator buses are being redirected to Loading Bay 1 and the front of Zabeel.

Employee Pick-Up Points

The Dubai Mall employees using car lift services should now head to:

  • Zabeel Loading Bay
  • Front side of Zabeel

Hotel Shuttles and Tour Coaches

New drop-off and pick-up points have also been set for other transportation services:

  • Hotel shuttle buses will now operate from Dubai Mall Fountain Views.
  • Tour coaches will use the Dubai Mall Chinatown stop.

Construction is ongoing to replace the current Grand Parking P1 and P2 with a new car park named Grand Drive, scheduled to open in August 2025. It is expected to increase the current capacity.

Due to these works:

  • Lower Financial Exit Ramp and Upper Financial Exit Ramp are currently closed
  • Several internal roads and access points are not in use while construction continues

Visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and follow posted signage when navigating to and from the Dubai Mall. While inside, shoppers can enjoy a variety of over 1,200 stores, including big names like Galeries Lafayette and Bloomingdale’s. At the beginning of Ramadan 2025, the mall opened a new section with 65 more stores near Ice Rink.
