Robin Höfer, the former chef of MICHELIN-starred Ossiano, has launched his own supper club in Dubai — Robz’ Chef’s Table. Known for his work in top restaurants around the world, Robin brings his personal touch to this intimate dining experience, blending Asian flavors with German comfort food and global influences.
Robz’ Chef’s Table is not a typical restaurant. With just eight seats per service, it offers a cozy, interactive setting where guests can enjoy dishes inspired by Robin’s culinary journey. Adding to the personal touch, diners even use cutlery passed down from his grandmother, Lore.
What’s on the Menu at Robz’ Chef’s Table?
The meal kicks off with a Tepache welcome drink, a fermented pineapple beverage. The menu then takes guests on a flavorful journey:
- Käse Spätzle, a German classic, upgraded with black truffle, crispy onion, and a fresh salad bouquet.
- The Golden Egg inspired by Thailand, this dish features lobster and tapioca pearls.
- Tom Kha Soup, a Thai favorite with a French culinary twist.
- Desserts with a nostalgic nod to Robin’s childhood in Germany.
The drink selection at Robz’ Chef’s Table is just as special as the food. One highlight is Spezi, a German soft drink served with jelly, black lemon, kumquat, and finger lime. For those skipping alcohol, there’s a non-alcoholic pairing featuring house-made fermented drinks like kombucha and lemonade.
