A new destination is on its way to Sharjah’s east coast. Rising 850 metres above sea level on Mount Deem, Above the Clouds retreat is under active development and expected to open in 2026. The project is designed to blend nature, culture, and leisure — all with sweeping views across Kalba’s coastline and valleys. Paying for parking in Dubai is about to get a lot more convenient. Salik, the company behind Dubai’s toll gates, is teaming up with Parkonic to expand automatic parking payments to more places across the city. This new system, already working in over 100 locations around the UAE, lets drivers park without tickets, barriers, or payment machines.
