The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has officially opened a brand-new stretch of road in Dubai Investment Park, designed to accommodate both vehicle traffic and the upcoming Etihad Rail service. This latest infrastructure move is a major step forward for Dubai’s expanding transport network. The newly completed 1.8km flyover connects Dubai Investment Park with Al Yalayis Road, allowing cars to move overhead while freight trains pass safely below. Dubai’s much-anticipated winter camping season has officially started, running from October 21, 2024, through April 2025. Set in the picturesque Al Awir desert, the temporary camping areas offer a family-friendly retreat, designed for those eager to immerse themselves in the breathtaking desert landscape during the cooler months. Salik, the company behind Dubai’s toll gates, is teaming up with Parkonic to expand automatic parking payments to more places across the city. This new system, already working in over 100 locations around the UAE, lets drivers park without tickets, barriers, or payment machines.
