If you drive a Tesla, here’s some good news from the company that actually makes everyday life a bit easier. Charging your car won’t cost you anything. To support users across the Gulf during a challenging time, Tesla has activated free Supercharging in 30 locations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Elon Musk has previously pointed out that free Supercharging is something the company enables during difficult periods, helping drivers stay on the road without worrying about extra costs. The company has previously offered free charging in the US during extreme weather and power outages.

In the UAE, you’ll find these stations in all emirates:

  • Abu Dhabi
Al Dhanna, Al Maryah, Al Mirfa, Masdar Central Park, Masdar City Centre, Yas Mall (Hypermarket LG and Main Entrance)
  • Dubai
Abu Hail, Al Habtoor City, Dubai Hills Grand Atrium, Dubai Hills Storm Coaster, Dubai Mall Za’abeel, Mall of the Emirates, Meadows Village, Wadi Al Safa, Wafi City

In Saudi Arabia, Tesla has enabled free Supercharging in Dammam, Riyadh, Jeddah and Taif.

Tesla owners in Qatar can benefit from the free service at one station at Doha Festival City.

Elon Musk’s projects are gradually expanding across the region. His satellite internet service, Starlink, is now available in several countries of the GCC, including the UAE and Kuwait.

The businessman is bringing more of his future-focused projects to the UAE. One of the most talked-about right now is Dubai Loop, an underground transport system that will connect some of the city’s busiest areas. The first four stations have already been announced, and it’s definitely the one to keep an eye on.
