Dubai Mall, already one of the world’s largest shopping centers, is set to become even more impressive with a massive expansion project. The mall, which currently boasts over 1,200 retail stores and 200 dining options, will soon add another 240 luxury retail and dining outlets to its roster. This ambitious expansion is backed by a substantial investment of Dhs1.5 billion.
Emaar Properties has announced that contractors are already mobilizing on-site to begin work on this major development. The expansion will enhance the mall’s already vast offerings, ensuring it remains a top destination for shoppers and tourists alike.
Currently, Dubai Mall spans 1.2 million square meters, making it the second-largest shopping mall in the world by total land area.

It houses iconic department stores such as Galeries Lafayette and Bloomingdales and features a diverse range of entertainment attractions. Visitors can enjoy the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, glide on the ice rink, or catch a movie at the 24-screen Cineplex.
