Two of Dubai’s well-known hospitality names are heading to the beach. This October, The MAINE and Canary Club will launch two new side-by-side venues — The MAINE Palm and Canary Beach — at Club Vista Mare on Palm Jumeirah.

The dual concept project brings together Joey Ghazal of The MAINE and Amjad Barakat and Jamal Wick of Canary Club, reuniting after their first collaboration in JLT back in 2022. The new venues aim to reflect two different coasts: Canary Beach is influenced by the laid-back, breezy feel of the American West Coast, while The MAINE Palm draws inspiration from East Coast elegance.

Each spot will feature multiple dining and lounging areas including beach beds, cabanas, terraces, seaside dining, and several lounge bars, offering a range of settings depending on the time of day or mood.

The menus are expected to carry signature dishes from both brands. Diners can look forward to Canary Club’s crudos, sushi, and ceviches, along with The MAINE’s raw bar, grilled meats and seafood, plus a few new items created especially for the beachside locations.

The MAINE Palm will be the brand’s first new outlet in Dubai since the opening of The MAINE Land Brasserie in Business Bay in 2020, while Canary Club continues its steady rise following its successful debut in JLT. The announcement also comes as The MAINE Oyster Bar and Grill in JBR celebrates ten years in the city’s dining scene — a milestone for any restaurant in Dubai.

With their upcoming launch at one of Palm Jumeirah’s busiest waterfront strips, both brands are set to bring new life and flavour to the shores this season.
