A familiar stop on the Dubai Metro red line just got a name change. As of May 5, 2025, the UAE Exchange Metro Station — located in Jebel Ali Industrial Area and serving as the last station on the red line in that direction — is now officially called Life Pharmacy Metro Station.
The rebranding follows a 10-year naming rights agreement between Life Pharmacy Group and Hypermedia, with Mada Media involved as the RTA’s authorised concessionaire for station naming partnerships. According to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), updates to signage — both inside and outside the station — as well as digital platforms and maps will roll out from May through August 2025.

Life Pharmacy Group’s chairman highlighted the broader value of the partnership, noting the station’s role in supporting Dubai’s integrated transport network.
This isn’t the only station to undergo a rebrand this year. In March 2025, Al Khail Metro Station was renamed Al Fardan Exchange Metro Station, situated between Dubai Internet City and Sobha Realty stations, also on the red line.
These changes reflect ongoing collaborations between the RTA and private sector brands as part of Dubai’s wider metro naming rights programme. So, if you’re heading to Jebel Ali, keep an eye out for the new Life Pharmacy Metro Station signage.
