The UAE has signed a mutual visa waiver agreement with the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, making travel easier for citizens of both countries. Under the new deal, UAE nationals no longer require a visa to enter the country.
The agreement applies to all types of passports:
- diplomatic
- special
- ordinary
- mission
The agreement was signed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Sean Sobers, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Caribbean Affairs for Trinidad and Tobago.

For those unfamiliar with the Caribbean nation, Trinidad and Tobago is located in the southern Caribbean, just off the coast of Venezuela. Known for its vibrant culture, beautiful beaches, and lively Carnival celebrations, it offers tropical tourism and cultural experiences for visitors.
UAE nationals already enjoy one of the strongest passports in the world, with visa-free access to 184 countries, including recently announced a 90-day visa-free stay in Japan. Travel advantages like these continue to make international trips smoother and more convenient for Emiratis.
