But here’s something truly heartwarming for all the residents: the UAE ranks No.1 globally for public satisfaction, according to a recent global survey. 33% of people living here are more satisfied with their economy, jobs, safety, and government than anyone else in the world.
The Gallup survey, revealed at the World Government Summit, shows that UAE residents have the highest confidence in their country’s future. They feel good about the government, the economy, their jobs, and safety – things that are often a major source of concern elsewhere.
Here’s what UAE residents often cite as their concerns:
- Environment: 19%
- Work and employment: 12%
- Infrastructure: 12%
- Economy: 7%
But these numbers are minor compared to other nations.
And there’s more to be proud of. UAE is also dominating the Global Safety Index 2026, with four out of the top five safest cities in the world. So not only is the country a great place to live in, but it’s also one of the safest places in the world.
