A new wave of dining is about to arrive in Downtown Dubai. WOOHOO, a tech-forward restaurant concept by hospitality group Gastronaut, is launching soon at Kempinski The Boulevard — and it’s looking to redefine what it means to “dine in the future.”
WOOHOO will serve up a curated menu of Japanese, Mexican, and Peruvian dishes, with recipes developed through a blend of AI-generated input and hands-on expertise from a Michelin-level chef. Guests can expect flavour combinations that challenge conventions while staying rooted in fine-dining execution.

The space itself reflects the concept’s forward-thinking vision: digital art installations and panoramic views — including the Burj Khalifa. Metallic finishes, ambient lighting, and flowing architectural lines set the stage for a visually immersive meal.
Blending culinary creativity with cutting-edge technology, WOOHOO is set to offer something distinct. Created in collaboration with UAE-based culinary tech firm UMAI, the venue will feature Chef Aiman, an AI-driven culinary assistant designed to support real chefs — not replace them. Chef Aiman is programmed to help design menus, recommend ingredients, and manage kitchen operations, all while prioritising transparency and safety.

WOOHOO is more than a novelty. With AI contributing to both back-of-house operations and the development of its dishes, it’s a sign of where hospitality could be heading next — especially in a city like Dubai, known for embracing innovation.
Although the official launch date hasn’t been announced yet, expected this summer. However, it’s already possible to make a reservation at WOOHOO. Keep an eye out for more details as the opening approaches.
