Dubai’s culinary landscape continues to evolve, and the latest addition to the scene is Yubi Handroll Bar — a first-of-its-kind concept in the region. Set to open on September 5 in 25 Jump Street, this spot is a collaboration between chef Reif Othman and 7 Management.

The design of the new venue is influenced by Japanese street culture and hip-hop, creating an atmosphere that’s fun and full of energy. Expect custom-designed uniforms, funky décor, and counter seating, where you can watch your handrolls being prepared right in front of you.

Yubi (指) means finger in Japanese. The concept is centered on handrolls, a sushi style where seaweed is wrapped around rice and delicious fillings like salmon, scallop, tuna, and foie gras — perfect for eating with hands. The menu also includes a variety of other Japanese dishes like sashimi, nigiri, salads, and hot bites. All of it pairs beautifully with a wide selection of cocktails and sake at the licensed bar.

Yubi Handroll Bar will join other venues in 25 Jump Street, Dubai’s new licensed dining destination, which will feature 12 unique concepts. Some restaurants are already welcoming guests, and others, including secret bar LucyLu and Kris Fade’s restaurant, will be opening soon.
