From Manchester, UK, and now based in Dubai, UAE, BEN ECHO is an open-format DJ who breaks down the genre barriers with a turntablist, mash-up style.
From hip-hop, funk, soul, disco and future beats, to jump-up blues bangers, RnB and house, ECHO blurs the lines with a credible, good-times sound that appeals as much to the heads as it does the dance-floors.
Ben began DJing professionally as a resident at the UK’s Fresh Jive - at the time, one of the world’s most respected breakdance and hip-hop events. He’s since provided the musical backdrop of numerous festivals and events in countries such UK, France, USA, Japan, UAE and Bahrain, and supported artists as diverse as the Sugar Hill Gang, Dub Pistols, Kraak & Smaak, DJ Vadim, Shy FX, DJ Format and Craig Charles - to name but a few.
