Sari Abboud, known by his stage name Massari, meaning ‘money’ in Arabic, is a Canadian-Lebanese RnB, pop and hip-hop artist. Influenced heavily by George Wassouf, one of the most prominent musicians of the Arab world, Massari’s sound features a mix of Middle Eastern tones with western culture.
Massari started his musical career in 2002 with the release of his single Spitfire. In 2005 he released his first self-titled album, which resulted in four singles, putting him on the map in the Middle East, Europe and Asia.
Massari has released five albums to date. His latest album Beirut, named after the city where he was born, will be released this year and features already released songs ‘So Long’ and ‘Done Da Da’ which was viewed over 7.2 million times within 3 weeks on Vevo.
