British electronic dance music duo The Chemical Brothers are one of the pioneering acts for big beat and electronica music in the UK. Alongside The Prodigy and Fatboy Slim, the duo have topped charts across the world, sold millions of albums, won numerous accolandes and have performed for thousands of fans during their career that has spanned over four decades.
The Chemical Brothers have had numerous top charting albums with their first Number 1 coming in 1997 with ‘Dig Your Own Hole’. Praised for their clean productions and funky beats the duo have created numerous hits that have been added to electronic music classics lists numerous times including ‘Block Rockin’ Beats’, ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’ and ‘Galvanise’.
In total, 6 of The Chemical Brothers’ eight albums have topped the UK charts, as well as entering Top Tens across Europe, with many of them being certified Gold or Platinum. The duo has also won four Grammy Awards throughout their career, twice for Best Dance/Electronic Album.
