Nemzzz is a UK rapper from Manchester who has become one of the most exciting young voices in British hip-hop. The real name is Nemiah Emmanuel Simms, born and raised in the Gorton area of Manchester. The nationality is British, and the parents are of Jamaican descent — the artist's father was a reggae and bashment singer, while the mother and uncle were beatmakers, making music a constant presence from childhood. Growing up surrounded by that sound gave Nemzzz a head start that few peers could match.

Career began at just 14, self-releasing early tracks on SoundCloud and YouTube. The breakthrough came in November 2021 with "Elevate," which exploded on TikTok and racked up over 54 million Spotify streams, followed quickly by "2MS" in early 2022. The songs kept coming — co-signs from Drake, a Glastonbury debut, features from Headie One, Central Cee, and Lil Yachty — all building toward the debut mixtape Do Not Disturb (2024), which debuted at number 17 on the UK Albums Chart and hit number one on the UK R&B Albums Chart. The second mixtape Rent's Due (2025) went even further, debuting at number 6 on the Official UK Album Chart, again topping the UK R&B Albums Chart, with the Central Cee-featured songs "Dilemma" marking the highest charting single to date. The albums are independently released under ADA UK, Warner Music Group's distribution arm, with Nemzzz owning his masters.

The tour and concerts have grown rapidly alongside the music, with upcoming events and tickets selling out as the fanbase expands beyond the UK.
