Dubai’s famous dancing fountain, a major attraction in Downtown Dubai, will temporarily close for five months starting in May. Emaar Properties has announced that the Dubai Fountain will undergo a full renovation to enhance its water choreography, lighting, and sound system.

Located near Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Fountain is a must-see for visitors and residents. Its dazzling performances, where water jets dance to music and lights, attract millions every year.

Emaar, one of the UAE’s biggest real estate developers, promises that the upgraded fountain will deliver an even more immersive experience. Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar, highlighted the landmark’s significance, calling it a symbol of Dubai’s creativity and innovation.

Once the renovation is complete, visitors can expect an improved show that brings even more magic to the city’s skyline. The Dubai Fountain is expected to reopen in October 2025, welcoming visitors back with a refreshed and enhanced show.
