A new restaurant is about to make its mark at Dubai Harbour this autumn, and it’s called Son of a Fish. Inspired by the Athenian Riviera, the venue will bring a touch of Greece to the city, from its design to its mouth-watering menu.
The space will reflect the simplicity and beauty of the Athenian coastline with its airy interiors and floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing natural light to flood the room. The minimalist terrace will offer breathtaking views of the harbour, making it a perfect spot as the weather cools down.
True to Greek tradition, Son of a Fish will serve fresh seafood and traditional Greek dishes, each with a unique twist that reflects global influences. The menu is designed for sharing, which is at the heart of country’s dining culture, bringing friends and family together over vibrant flavors and delicious food.
Inside, a fresh fish display will remind you of a traditional seaside taverna, and the beverage list will complement the laid-back atmosphere. To set the mood, DJs will keep the energy going with modern Aegean Electronica. There will also be a cultural program, bringing live performances that celebrate Mediterranean sounds and traditions.

Son of a Fish doesn’t have an official opening date just yet, but it will be located next to Bar du Port in Dubai Harbour. This new addition is part of a wave of new openings, including other spots coming to the city like MEI, Yubi handroll bar, LucyLu, DOTS, and Orilla.
