A major new sports and event venue is coming to Abu Dhabi by 2029: Al Jazira Club Stadium. With a capacity to seat 24,000 spectators (expandable to 30,000), this fully air-conditioned stadium will host a wide variety of events all year long, from football matches to public celebrations.

For over 40 years, Al Jazira Club has played its home matches at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Al Nahyan, which was expanded in 2009. The venue will provide a more versatile space for both sportsmen and their fans. It will be equipped with hospitality services, including restaurants and lounges, many of which will be available even when there are no events taking place.

The stadium will offer fully air-conditioned seating to keep fans comfortable year-round. It will also feature a retractable pitch, allowing the stadium to host various types of events beyond football.

In addition to Al Jazira Club Stadium, there are more large-scale projects in the UAE capital to look forward to, including Zayed National Museum, Disney Theme Park, and Natural History Museum. These and other new developments will contribute to the city’s growing reputation as a hub for culture and entertainment.
