If you’re the type who has a regular table at tashas or at least a favourite dish you always go back to, you’ll want to hear this. A brand-new spot called Cafe Sofi is coming to Dubai, and it’s backed by the same team that built the tashas name across the region.
Cafe Sofi is a South African concept by Tashas Group. It’s a personal project from founder Natasha Sideris, shaped by family influence and home-style cooking traditions that blend English and Greek flavours. Instead of flashy dishes, the focus is on honest food done well. The kind of plates you crave more than once a week.
The concept is expected to bring an easygoing atmosphere. It’s a place you drop in for coffee, stay for lunch, and possibly return the next day. Menu options will include eggs and avocado on toast for breakfast, juicy burgers, salads, grilled calamari with butter, pastas, and a signature hot dog for lunch.
The exact Dubai location and official opening date for Cafe Sofi haven’t been announced yet, but more details are expected soon.
