Anyone who drives through Downtown Dubai knows how packed the roads can get. A new bridge, opened as part of the Dubai World Trade Centre Roundabout Development Project, can now make the drive a lot quicker.
The bridge carries outbound traffic from Al Bada’a toward 2nd of December Street, with direct connections to Sheikh Rashid Street and Al Mustaqbal Street. Check its location on the map below.

While the 500-metre bridge near DIFC may look like a small addition, its impact on daily traffic is huge:
- Capacity:1,200 vehicles per hour
- Travel time drop: 75% (2 minutes instead of 8)
Back in December 2025, the RTA completed two other bridges at the Dubai World Trade Centre Roundabout. Two more bridges are still planned for the area (marked in purple on the map).
For anyone who drives through the area, a shorter route near DWTC could make a real difference in the daily commute and probably the mood too.
