Summer in Abu Dhabi usually means one thing: finding creative ways to stay active indoors. Luckily, one of the city’s biggest indoor sports events is making a comeback.
Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2026 returns to ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from June 6 until August 23, filling the venue with games, workouts, competitions, and family activities. You’ll get access to 52 courts and activity zones, where you can play everything from football and basketball to archery, judo, chess, and obstacle course challenges.
Not enough of a challenge? Spartan Indoor Race is back in Abu Dhabi this June.

If you’re in the mood to try something new, Abu Dhabi Summer Sports 2026 has added 10 activities for 2026:
- E-gaming
- VR experiences
- AR experiences
- Boxing
- Muay Thai
- Jiu-Jitsu
- Handball
- Pickleball
- Cycling
- Judo
While the schedule already sounds packed, there’s even more to explore at Abu Dhabi Summer Sports, including boxing workshops, yoga sessions, sports clinics, weightlifting demonstrations, and training programmes.

There will also be camps for children aged 4 to 16, women-only sports programmes, activities for senior citizens, and sports sessions for People of Determination.
If you’re building a summer bucket list for the family, Abu Dhabi’s theme parks and water parks deserve a spot on it too.
And if you’re spending the summer in Al Ain, Summer Sports will also take place at ADNEC Centre Al Ain from June 10 to August 19.
