New Smart Parking System in Abu Dhabi Takes Care of Payments for You

If you’ve ever wished parking could take care of itself, it’s now possible in Abu Dhabi. Q Mobility has introduced a new Smart Parking System at selected public parking facilities, allowing drivers to enter and leave without stopping to pay. Charges are automatically processed through Darb digital wallet.

The Smart Parking System is currently available at:

Public Multi-Storey Car Park No. 1 (East Sector 01-3) on Abu Dhabi Island
Public Multi-Storey Car Park No. 5 (Sector 02-3) on Abu Dhabi Island
Commercial parking areas in Mohammed Bin Zayed City in sectors ME9, ME10, and ME12

Check out the map of paid parking in commercial sectors and villa areas in MBZ City.

The system relies on AI and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology to identify cars as they enter and leave. Parking fees are calculated automatically and deducted from the driver’s Darb wallet when the vehicle exits.

The automated parking service operates 24/7, 365 days a year. The fee is AED 2/hour, up to AED 15 for a full day.
