Looking for ways to keep the kids busy during the summer holidays? Sharjah Museums Authority has a packed calendar of camps, workshops and family activities throughout the Summer Season 2026.

The programme includes several multi-day camps and family experiences:

Happy Holiday Summer Camp (July 13 to August 20): Children aged 7 to 12 can enjoy educational activities and creative workshops combining heritage, arts and science at several Sharjah museums.
Junior Aquarist Programme (August 3 to 6): Children aged 9 to 13 can head to Sharjah Aquarium for practical sessions on marine life, aquarium operations, water quality management and educational workshops on marine ecosystems.
Young Calligrapher Programme (August 3 to 6): Al Qasimia School – Museum of Education introduces children to Arabic calligraphy and Kufic script through hands-on workshops.

You can also sign up for two themed workshops:

Moon Day at Sharjah Science Museum on July 19, featuring interactive astronomy and space exploration activities
Mould Story at the Resistance Monument on August 22, where participants will create decorative Jesmonite plates while learning about the history of plate-making

Also: Sharjah Science Museum hosts scientific and artistic workshops, educational demonstrations and interactive games for families.
