Apple is set to make history in Saudi Arabia with the opening of its first flagship retail store by 2026, bringing an exciting new shopping experience for the brand fans. Ahead of the physical store launch, an Apple Store online will be available as early as summer 2025, providing access to the tech giant’s full product lineup and support in Arabic.
This marks a significant step in Apple’s commitment to serving Saudi customers more personally and effectively. CEO Tim Cook highlighted the company’s focus on fostering deeper connections with Saudi users, enhancing their access to innovative technologies while supporting their ambitions.
The new flagship store, including a standout location at Diriyah — a renowned UNESCO World Heritage site — will offer more than just product displays. Customers can enjoy personalized consultations, device setup assistance, and an array of shopping and financing options. With these new retail avenues, Apple aims to deliver a customer-centric experience.
Building on its presence in Saudi Arabia, Apple has been actively investing in the Kingdom. The Apple Developer Academy in Riyadh, which launched in 2021 at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, has already empowered numerous women in coding, design, and app entrepreneurship. These graduates have contributed to a booming Saudi app economy, creating tools used both locally and globally.
Over the past five years, Apple has spent more than 10 billion SAR with local suppliers, while also supporting digital innovations like Apple Pay for public transit systems. This latest expansion underscores Apple’s dedication to aligning its vision with Saudi Arabia’s forward-thinking goals.
