Looking for a family day out in Beirut that gets everyone away from screens and into nature? Earth & Green Day invites you to spend a day hiking, exploring the farm, meeting animals, and enjoying good food in nature.
The event takes place on June 27, at Little Reed, a traditional family house in Qsaibeh village, just 20 km outside Beirut.
The event celebrates World Environment Day with a programme focused on nature, farming, and recycling. The day will include a variety of activities:
- Hiking at 11 AM
- Saj station at 12 PM
- Recycling awareness session and upcycling activities at 1 PM
- Lunch buffet at 1:30 PM
- Farm discovery and botanical plant tour at 3 PM
You can also spend time with the animals. Some of the activities include donkey play, animal feeding, and a chance to get up close to snails.
