Italian cuisine fans in Dubai have a new restaurant to look forward to. Felicità Dubai is preparing to open its doors at Address Sky View in Downtown Dubai, with a focus on celebrating the flavours and spirit of Southern Italy.
Felicità, meaning “happiness” in Italian, draws its concept from more than just food — it promises an experience rooted in Italian culture, comfort, and family tradition. According to the team behind the venue, the restaurant aims to highlight “food, culture and the spirit of Southern Italy.” The décor will reflect Italian influences and the venue will house both a dining area and a bar.

Though the full menu has yet to be revealed, the concept will most likely feature traditional recipes passed down from Italian families and nonnas. That means guests can expect comforting, rustic dishes with deep roots in Southern regions like Campania, Puglia, and Calabria:
- Melanzane alla parmigiana – a baked dish made with layers of fried eggplant, tomato sauce, basil, and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.
- Orecchiette con cime di rapa – a traditional pasta from Puglia, served with sautéed turnip tops, garlic, anchovies, and chili.
- Spaghetti alle vongole – spaghetti tossed with clams, olive oil, garlic, white wine, and parsley.
Likely menu positions will include famous Neapolitan-style pizzas with airy crusts and simple toppings. A range of seafood dishes, such as grilled octopus or calamari fritti (fried squid rings), might also feature prominently, reflecting the coastal heritage of the south.
