First Disney Store Comes to Dubai: Opening Date, Location & What’s Inside

Exciting news for Disney fans — Dubai is finally getting its own standalone Disney Store! The much-anticipated shop will open at Dubai Mall on Friday, March 28, bringing a world of Disney magic to the UAE.

This is the first Disney Store in Dubai, and another one is set to open at Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi. Both stores are brought to the region by the Alshaya Group. John Hadden, CEO of the retail franchise operator, shared that both stores will open just before Eid al-Fitr, giving shoppers plenty of time to explore the magical new space.

What to Expect Inside Dubai’s Disney Store

The new store promises an immersive experience for visitors. Expect huge murals and 3D sculptures of beloved Disney characters like Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh. Kids will even have the chance to meet some of their favorite characters in person.

A special feature of the store is the ‘story arc’ corners — interactive spaces designed to bring classic Disney stories to life.

Where to Find the Disney Store in Dubai Mall

The Dubai Mall Disney Store will be the flagship location in the UAE, meaning special events and promotions are planned throughout March and April. You can find Disney Store on the second floor of the mall, near the Dubai Aquarium.

This launch comes just as Dubai Mall unveils ‘The District’, a brand-new shopping and dining area, making the mall an even bigger attraction for visitors.

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a new name for Al Khail Metro Station. From now on, it will be called Al Fardan Exchange Metro Station. This station is part of the Red Line, located between interchanges 4 and 5 on Sheikh Zayed Road.
