Dubai is set to open a new sports and entertainment free zone, aiming to attract top businesses, investors, and professionals from these industries. The International Sports and Entertainment Free Zone Cluster (ISEZA) will be located at One Central, near the Museum of the Future, offering a hub for global and regional players in the sports and entertainment sectors.

The initiative is part of Dubai’s broader strategy to become a leading destination for major sports events, entertainment projects, and industry innovation. By creating a dedicated space for businesses, the free zone hopes to bring together global brands, sports leagues, talent agencies, media personalities, influencers, and creative professionals.

ISEZA will serve as a base for sports federations, associations, and leagues, covering both traditional and emerging sports. Businesses will be able to obtain licenses in areas such as sports management, event organization, talent representation, and sports media. The free zone will also support fast-growing sectors like e-sports, AI-powered sports tech, and digital fan engagement tools.

In addition to business opportunities, the free zone will promote sports exhibitions, museums, academic programs, and community events at Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Expo City.

Damir Valeev, CEO of ISEZA, emphasized the social impact of the project, stating: “This initiative aligns with Dubai’s vision of becoming a world-class destination for sports, entertainment, and tourism. It will provide a unique environment for businesses and foster a culture of healthy living.”

Dubai has already established itself as a global hub for tourism, business, and large-scale events. With ISEZA, the city aims to strengthen its position in the sports and entertainment industries, attracting investments and creating new job opportunities.
